Westminster School

We have had the pleasure of working with All-in Education on a number of occasions and greatly valued their knowledge, expertise and insights. They give a compelling message of what schools need to know and what they need to do as they consider and develop their approach to EDI. All-in trained our whole senior management team on matters related to EDI including an in-depth plenary presentation and a series of one-to-one meetings where each of us was asked to reflect on our own attitudes and approaches. This work was fundamental in informing our strategic approach to EDI and the experience itself brought us all together as a team. Johan Jensen from All-in returned to give an INSET presentation to our whole staff and to help train staff tasked with delivering the RSHE and wellbeing programme. Johan’s core message – that diversity is nothing without inclusivity – has certainly resonated and through the use of pupil forums, tutorials, and assemblies we are challenging bystander neutrality as well as encouraging an inclusive, kind and thoughtful everyday culture throughout the school. It was an enormous pleasure to work with All-in Education, not least as a result of their enthusiasm and engaging approach. We look forward to working with them again.

Royal Grammar School Guilford

I asked All-In Education to conduct an Inclusive Recruitment Review, to look at our recruitment cycle. Johan interviewed a number of key staff, including teachers who had recently been appointed, and looked at all relevant documentation and policies. The report and his follow-up discussions were thorough, insightful and provided clear recommendations along with examples of good practice. We intend to put in place all of his recommendations over the next few months. We found Johan to be professional, honest and a real pleasure to work with.

We had an equally positive experience of working with All-In Education on the D&I Educational Leadership Programme. We found that the three-part approach of two leadership training sessions followed up by one-to-one coaching very effective in giving the whole leadership team a firm grasp of the key issues and providing some specific and individualised follow-up actions. Johan also led training sessions for staff and Governors, which were very well-received. We have already put in place a number of changes on the back of these training sessions, but it is also going to be a key aim in our next triennial strategy to ensure that these important issues stay at the forefront of our minds.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Johan and his team and am delighted to recommend All-In-Education wholeheartedly and without reservation.

The Alliance for Learning

All-in Education have led a number of CPD sessions for our trust and our teaching school. Johan and the team are brilliant, they are incredibly knowledgeable, articulate, engaging, research driven but also down to earth. The Leadership sessions have been a catalyst to many schools really considering policies, practices & of course how inclusive the curriculum is. I would recommend All in Education for training in this area.

Ark Schools

In response to Ark’s Diversity and Inclusion priorities this year we, at Ark, have worked with All in Education over several months. The goal was to help our staff across the entire Ark network to become even more inclusive leaders. This included working with all of our Management Team, Regional Directors, Principals and the Central Heads of Team. All in Education were a terrific partner to work with, always listening and guiding our thinking in a responsive and supportive manner. All-in Education is a great team and were a pleasure to work with.

Newstead Wood for Girls

We have had the privilege to work with Johan and his team for the past 18 months on our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy at Newstead Wood School. From the beginning, the All-in team did everything possible to understand our school and its culture, with a genuine care and passion to help us develop and flourish as we progressed along our inclusion journey. The results have been incredible. Working first with our senior leaders, and then with subject leads, we have collaborated to develop an even more inclusive culture and have a thorough understanding of our curriculum through a D&I lens. The team at All-in are excellent to work with, providing us with welcome challenge and tools for improvement, and really recognise the value of reflecting and integrating inclusion best practice into the heart of our school.

The King’s School

We engaged All-in Education to help us to develop an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy at The King’s School, Gloucester. From the outset I was very impressed with their knowledge, communications and administrative skills. They delivered an excellent INSET session to our whole school staff which was popular, engaging and which stimulated a great deal of discussion and reflection. Our Senior Leadership Team then took part in two further training sessions and also held one to one meetings with All-in Education. On every occasion we were delighted with the provision of information and, especially, the positive engagement and personal warmth of Johan and Louise. Within six months of starting our EDI journey, we were far better informed, we fully understood the actions which we needed to take as a school, and we all had individual action plans to follow in the months and years ahead. I cannot over-emphasise the support which All-in Education gave to our school and I warmly recommend them to others.
— David Morton, Headmaster, The King’s School, Gloucester

United Learning

Working with Johan and All-in Education took our thinking and action on Diversity and Inclusion to a whole new level. The programme really helped to challenge and support us, ensuring that all senior colleagues were on board and passionate about making a difference in this area. All-in Education really enabled us to see the business and moral case for D&I and how taking a proactive approach on this could be a game changer for our staff and pupils. I would highly recommend All-in Education and will definitely be working with them again in future
— Mandy Coalter, Director of People, United Learning

Ark Schools

Ark Schools commissioned Johan to develop our employer brand to be more inclusive and to appeal to a wider section of teachers to join our organisation. He conducted a thorough analysis of what makes people want to join and stay at Ark. On the back of the analysis he developed and implemented a new Employer Brand Strategy which included recruitment, marketing and communications. The Strategy has improved our image to new potential teaching staff and moved us forward to be an employer of choice. Johan also conducted research into the state of play of Diversity & Inclusion at Ark which has helped inform our thinking and future action to progress this agenda further. Working with Johan was a real pleasure - he was easy to work with and had a real impact. We would definitely work with him again.
— Katie Oliver, Director of Operations, Ark Schools

Luminate

Johan Jensen carried out diversity review for an investigative journalism nonprofit on behalf of Luminate. It was exceptionally well executed, giving us deep, data-driven insights and providing thoughtful and actionable feedback for the organization to work on. He handled the interactions with staff of all levels with tact and total professionalism. He was tremendous to work with and we will certainly be using him again. In fact, we were so impressed with his work that we have invited him to speak to all our worldwide team members at our annual gathering.
— Nishant Lalwani, Director

Stonewall

Stonewall worked with Johan at All-in Education to help develop its five year strategy for its Education & Youth team. This strategy will help us to take forward our work to improve LGBT inclusion in education and also beyond the classroom to other institutions that work with young people. Johan has been a pleasure to work with, and we’re grateful to the support and creative thinking that has been provided.
— Rachel Stein, Executive Director of Campaigns and Strategy
